How are you doing on your list. A lot has happened for me in the past 308 days of 2008 as I am sure it is with you. We have 58 days left in this year how are you going to finish. As I have mentioned before resolutions DON’T work, life changes DO. I know that you have the best intentions, but sometimes you don’t have the motivation.
A goal is nothing but a dream until there is some action behind it. For the month of November Cacia Chronicles will concentrate on Attitudes you need to have in order to succeed in life. A key factor to achieving your goals is to get motivated, stay motivated to take the actions that move you forward.
So how do you get motivated?
You need to be aware of what state you are in. Are you energized or are you on autopilot? When you are energized, you do things you enjoy, move quicker and get results. On autopilot you move slower, feel down and bored and are easily distracted. It is impossible for you to operate 24 hours a day with high energy, at some point we need down time and that’s okay. Imagine though, the results we could achieve if we operated on high energy during our most productive time of the day, the results would be outstanding. For the next 30 days start being aware of what state of energy you’re in. When you start to notice that your actions are slower and you’re easily distracted, change your state, stretch, do a visualization exercise, look at a motivating picture or listen to music. Do whatever you need to do to change your state quickly. The more you stay energized the easier it will be to attract your goals and the motivation to take action.
