Flexibility (37)

“The bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you refuse to take the turn.”  Anonymous

If you were walking in the forest and came across a brick wall, what would you do?

Would you question why it was there, who put it there, and why there always seems to be a brick wall in front of you?

Would you be thinking of strategy, try to decide whether to go around, under, over, through the wall.  Sometimes in life we need to be flexible, there isn’t just one way to the right solution.  Sometimes we need to try a series of options before we find the right one that works for us.

We all have a wall(challenges) in our lives.  The question is whether or not you will choose to be flexible until you find the solution that gets you to your end goal.

It took Thomas Edison over 1000 attempts to get the light bulb right.  When asked why he continued he replied “I figure out 1000 ways it didn’t work and I just need to figure out the way it will work!”

“The boldness of asking deep questions may require unforeseen flexibility if we are to accept the answers.  Brian Greene

“Be clear about your goal but flexible about the process of achieving it.”  Brian Tracy
