For me the best part of the Olympics is the award ceremony. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the pride ooze from the athletes as they receive their medals. I think I enjoy the award for purely selfish reasons because I take the athlete out of the picture and imagine it is me accepting the award. Of course when I am accepting the award it is ALWAYS a gold medal.
“Energy goes where focus flows!”
I love that quote because so many times in my life I have proven it to be true. It has been a very long time since I would have received an athletic gold medal but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have gold medal successes in my life. The problem is that I don’t celebrate them enough, do you?
How can you create abundance and success in your life when you don’t celebrate the successes you have already achieved? Each of us experiences highs and lows in life and it’s our past achievement that gives us the strength, faith and confidence to continue when we feel we have no options.
As the Olympics have just come to a close that doesn’t mean you need to stop striving for you goals as long as you take time to celebrate your triumphs along the way.
“Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true.
