Appreciating Beauty (30)

Appreciating The Beauty Around Us

by Charmaine Hunte

Here we are the in the middle of July the unofficial heart of summer.  Are you enjoying it so far, I am because where I am before you know it will be gone.  I like everything about summer (the sunshine, clothes, blossoms, promise of something new, bbqs, long days and short nights, patios and pools)  Unfortunately I will be the first to admit that I don’t always  take the time to appreciate and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of summer.  We are never going to have a July 2008 again so in its honour let’s take so time this week to enjoy summer wherever we are.

Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.” Cicero

“Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” Margaret Cousins

God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  Have you used one to say “thank you?”  William A. Ward

Your comments and thoughts are always appreciated.
