Power of Positive Mental Attitude (27)
by Charmaine Hunte
Every day, all day long episodes and events take place in our lives, these experiences shape who we are for better or worst. Later on in life if we were to review the events in our lives the details we remember are the consequences of how we chose to handle the events. To paraphrase Stephen Covey in his book the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People “when we pick up a stick, we always pick up both ends.”
How we choose to respond to a situation is based on whether our head space is positive or negative when we are making crucially decisions. The better the headspace we are in the higher the chances that we can figure out solutions that have a positive outcome. If however we are in a headspace of negativity there is limited room for positive solutions.
I would like to share with you a very old poem. Perhaps, it is more a reminder for me than for you but many times in my life I have proven that when I follow this poem positive results flow freely in my life.
