The Secret to Success

A Positive Attitude

by Charmaine Hunte

Is your glass half full or half empty?

Maintaining a positive attitude is the secret to success.  Now I am not trying to say that if you are having a challenge in your life right now that just having a positive attitude is enough to change the situation.  Action is still required.  Action partnered with a positive attitude has incredible force and power.  In the last post Two Wolves you read how you always have a choice to decide which wolf you feed.  A positive mind opens your mind to possibilities and solutions that you can put into action to solve your challenges.  It puts you in alignment with the forces of the universe that can assist you in making the right decisions to overcome a hurdle.  Below is a poem that describes it the best.  Enjoy !

ATTITUDE

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on my life.  Attitude to me, is more important than facts.  It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people say or do.  It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.  It will make or break a company, a church a home.  The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.  We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.  We cannot change the inevitable.  The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have and that is our attitude.  I am convinced that life is 10 % what happens to me and 90 % how I react to it.  And so it is with you.We are in charge of our attitudes.

Charles Swindoll

“Your attitude does not just happen,You CHOOSE it, MANAGE it and MASTER it.”  Anthony Robbins
