“No man is capable of self-improvement if he sees no other model but himself.” Conrado Generoso
A couple of days ago while doing some research online for a seminar I am developing; I came across an article about Michelangelo’s David. I was very intrigued and the following post is inspired by what I learned.
Michelangelo created David in the 1500 it took him 4 years to complete. The statue is now regarded by many as a perfect work of art. Would we have Michelangelo’s David today if Michelangelo did not challenge himself to improve on his craft? The amount of humanlike detail that is David is truly amazing. While I have only witnessed this statue in pictures it is definitely something I would like to one day see in person.
Do you ever stop to think what masterpieces; you can create in your lifetime if you took the time to improve and tweak your skills? How many projects have you stopped short because you felt overwhelmed, defeated or felt it was taking too long?
BE the Michelangelo for your own life, you’ll be amazed at what you can create !
